Redo🧵(originally from 2023) for students about using forceps to 'set down' the suture threads in a running suture, so that they are evenly spaced (L picture) instead of irregular (R picture). We'll see a simple way to do this, and what may happen if it isn't done. (1/)

Interesting paper in @JAMASurgery on role of antibiotics while awaiting Appendicectomy. Antibiotics did not decrease perforation rate when appendicectomy is done within 24 hours. https://t.co/FPpEafNbQl Does this change your practice?
