My kid only likes Granny Smith apples. I got pink lady the other day. She took a bite, didn’t like it. So i did a little curtsy and a kissy face. I said “these are pink ladys, for the prettiest of little ladys” and then she said she liked the apple and ate it.

I remember waking up post c section and immediately seeing my husband holding our baby. I felt calm as i dozed in/out while the anesthesia wore off. He was the first person to hold her, soothe her and change her diaper. I’m thankful he didn’t think taking care of her was girly.
