Aurora visible from St. Louis metro now (10:10pm), not as bright as last night. Vivid on long exposure shots.

Aurora is getting closer to top-tier territory, worth going out and taking a look for a while! Should be naked-eye visible even in city lights. I've seen red pillars to zenith here in the St. Louis metro a couple of times already.

I’ve never seen this intense high-level green arc before with mid-latitude auroras. We’re probably witnessing something rare now.

Aurora's been steadily visible to the eyes, from near I-64 east of St. Louis. Bright enough that I had to dial back camera exposures. Still a little low, but bright red pillars with green arc.
