I would be willing to bet some money on this episode being dominated by particulate ammonium nitrate, as in past springtimes. Perhaps @JamesAllanAtmos and colleagues can show us some real-time #Manchester aerosol composition data?.

High and moderate #AirQuality index values due to particulate pollution across much of England.

It's that time of year again. widespread elevated #particulate #airpollution across #Yorkshire and eastern England right now. Here is #Leeds Centre (data from @DefraUKAir).

I really enjoyed @FirstWestYorks Halloween prank of removing the non-stop aspect of the X84 service and converting it to the number 26! You caused all sorts of horror for the passengers! Really effective! Looking forward it getting back to the X84 soon though.
Happy Halloween from all of us at First West Yorkshire š. Whether you're taking a spooky stroll through town or going to a ghostly gathering, witch-ever stop you need, we'll get you there.

Seems like another good time to remind people ⦠.
Oops, donāt be alarmed by some of our @bbcweather app data this morning. Be assured there wonāt be 14408mph winds, hurricane force winds or overnight temperatures of 404°C. š¤¦āāļø. It is being looked at and hopefully sorted asap š¤

Agree. Utterly bonkers. Whatās the score @FirstWestYorks ?.
The proposed changes to the #X84 show no understanding of passenger behaviour, will make the journey less efficient for #Otley, #Ilkley & #Bramhope residents and cause more traffic. RIP #X84 @KatieJWhite @alexsobel.

Our new paper out in @CommsEarth. šš»We estimate substantial local & remote health impacts due to #Arctic #wildfire sourced particulate pollution. Recent changes in magnitude and latitudes of these fires are important to consider in understanding how these impacts are changing.
#AirPollution - Large Arctic #wildfires, increased fine particulate matter concentration and caused around 21000 excess deaths each year between 2001 and 2020, of which 8000 occurred in countries outside the Arctic Council. @steverarnold @CLSReddington .ā¶ļø
