Crossed Canadian border into Maine today and was a GHOST TOWN - we were the only car for several minutes at the usually busiest crossing - they said it's been very slow as few Canadians coming to spend money. Big loss for USA economy.

Had breakfast with an old firefighter in my hometown in rural Maine - he's 80 years old, been fighting fires & an EMT for 50+ years . amazing guys, these men who serve the public by running into fires . and mostly men they are, though my niece's been doing it since her teens.
