West Ham should hang there heads in Shame. Zouma should be sacked. Zouma should be prosecuted. Zouma should serve 5 years without parole. #StandWithTheCats

This is important. Listening to the BBC this morning - it was as if Johnson had personally directed โthe mobโ. The non-too-subtle, if unspoken, parallel we were invited to make was obviously with the riot in Washington.
A baying mob of antivax nutjobs outrageously harassed Sir Keir Starmer yesterday, screaming about everything from Magna Carta to Julian Assange. Why is so much of the media pretending that this was the fault of Boris Johnson? My fact check this morning๐ https://t.co/yGKB3sFNFu

When the pack is running, treat everything you read with a big pinch of salt. The media's job to set out the claims & the counter claims, so you can decide the truth. Public service broadcasters should only offer their 'take' once they've set out the facts, and then cautiously.

@stoney632 Unlike the Batley school teacher, he is not in hiding, in fear of his life. Starmer is a Member of the same Party as John McDonnell who said Britain should be a country where no Tory politicians should be allowed to show their faces without being challenged by "direct action".

This didn't get much coverage. He won't accept that rules were in place for workplaces etc. The only real difference is that Boris and Co were outdoors. The truth is lots of people were breaking the rules whilst still taking care. Just let it go.

PETER HITCHENS: Starmer has very little chance of getting a majority at the next Election. His only realistic route to No10 is by forming some sort of pact with Nicola Sturgeon.

Steve Barclay would make an excellent successor to the PM if he shoukd decide to go, which hopefully he wonโt. But given choice between him and Socialist Sunak he would get my vote every time.

Boris Johnson seems to have touched a raw nerve with his comment on Sir Sleaze Ball Savile - knighted for services to the BBC.
