Had a great time at the @NASSspine Annual Meeting, played with all the newest technologies in spine care and learned from some great policy discussions — but most of all, loved all the celebrity sightings!

Thanks @MountSinaiNeuro. Yes we did find that among employed patients enrolled in the CSM-S Trial, patients undergoing laminoplasty returned to work faster — but further work is definitely needed to understand how this applies to the broader populations we treat. @NASSspine.
Our new @MountSinaiNeuro neurosurgeon, @stephenpmiranda , is presenting new #NIH research at #NASS2024 on how patients with cervical myelopathy are returning to work sooner after laminoplasty. Learn how surgical choices impact recovery @NASSspine #SpineSurgery @neurosurgery

Grateful to be part of this lineage!@TeWhatuOra.
At our #Neurosurgery Grand Rounds, Mr. Andrew Parker gave a great lecture on the differences in healthcare and lifestyle in New Zealand, compared to here in the US. For 10 years now, our residents have had the opportunity to train under Mr. Parker with an international rotation.
