19 years ago I came to this country with two suit cases and a medical degree - now I am married, a mom, a neurosurgeon and - as of today -an American citizen. Thank you America! You have been good to me! ❤️🇺🇸❤️
I am celebrating 10 years of motherhood today. I am proud of the mother I have become. Being a neurosurgeon and a mother has not being easy. I know I am the best mother for my children and the best neurosurgeon for my patients . Thank you my son - you mean the world to me ❤️
Countless people invited me with open arms and a smile to their homes for holidays 🍔🍗🌽 I did not know they excited. They made me feel welcome. They helped me thrive. They made me who I am today. This is the America I am proud to joint today! ❤️🇺🇸❤️

I am suggesting a new field of science: submitology ! This field of science studies author instructions and submission platforms of academic journals, and the psychological effect they have on the author trying to submitting a manuscript.

Picture taking this morning on my way to work. This makes me think how many steps have I taken to do what I do. How may stereotypes have I challenged along the way? What steps will my daughter take? Will it be different for her?

Working on getting my manuscript to the correct word count - got it down from 3371 to 2978 - 428 words to go!
Why it it so much harder to stay the same thing with less words ?
