Way over the top. Look, fact is our performances have been bad and the culture in the team is broken. That is completely downstream of the manager.

It is not too late to put the brakes on assisted dying, and focus on improved palliative, social and end-of-life care https://t.co/eKVlyfTxj6

Palliative care is deeply underfunded and unequal. Assisted dying cannot go ahead until politicians right that wrong, says former UK prime minister Gordon Brown

Labour have been completely deceitful about this from day 1. A bill like this, that represents monumental social change, should have been in the manifesto. Not sneakily legislated via a private members bill off the back of a ‘promise to Esther Rantzen’
EXC - I've seen a leaked policy document from Labour in opposition which sets out how to approach assisted dying. The document sets out how it could be introduced as a private member’s bill, suggesting that would still allow “heavy influence” for the government in the process

I’m not having people throwing the likes of Kerkez under the bus. We’ve signed great players this summer. There’s 3 things going on here: 1) Lack of a coherent tactical plan 2) Extreme number of player changes 3) Mental fatigue for obvious reasons Slot needs to sort 1).

Love this ❤️
Howard Gayle, the first black player to ever play for the Reds, headed back to Toxteth with Curtis Jones to talk about a journey which paved the way for so many ❤️ An important part of our story, as we look to celebrate Black History Month. #RedTogether

Tell you what, sticking a player with ~30,000 minutes in their legs at 26 on a six-year-deal seems like a huge risk. Trent's been picking up injuries too over the past two years. Madrid might have been conned.
Genuinely don’t think we would’ve signed Wirtz if Trent didn’t leave. And Trent has the minutes of a 33 year old at 26. Ready to move on in the comfort of knowing his body won’t last the duration of that 6 year contract. Doubt it makes it half way even

Someone on HN (which is often quite crypto-skeptical) asked why exactly businesses are finding crypto and stablecoins useful. It's a very reasonable question. My response:

The club’s decision making in the last 2 years has been absolutely phenomenal: - Brought in Slot post Klopp - Revamped the midfield in 23 and didn’t miss (Szobo, Macca, Endo, Grav) - Won the league by prudently not spending a penny in 24 - Masterclass transfer window ‘25
