Universal advice for creatives IMO--when you make something for you, and not for the amorphous blob audience out there, and it's work you're proud of and happy with, your audience will know and it makes a massive difference. Make yourself happy first.
I’ve always been super proud of our work on OK KO, and ive always believed it was because we were making a show to make each other (on the team) laugh, as opposed to making the world laugh. Great things happen when you take the performative elements out of the equation
