7 yrs ago I intervened in @networkrail's felling, stump-killing and off-site transfer of all timber/brushwood of 120 Oak trees - 180 yrs old - and hundreds of Ash, Sycamore etc in Sonning Cutting. Persuaded them to pollard, coppice and leave logs/brush in situ. A decent outcome.

@ThamesPathNT @sonningbridge It’s fab when bridges are built to last. We are still anxiously awaiting the confirmation of a financial package to fix #hammersmithbridge to all traffic, a key artery in London’s transport links. We have hope as traffic displaced @CharlotteV @Heidi_LDN @StephenCowan @TfL
