I was also fortunate to engage in aspirational conversations and interventions with students aiming to pursue degrees in India and abroad. Guiding them through pathways to higher education and hearing their ambitions was a real highlight. (4/6)

It was fascinating to explore History as a discipline through the lens of the CBSE curriculum and observe how historical thinking is nurtured in a different educational context. The curriculum differences between India and the UK sparked meaningful reflection on pedagogy. (3/6)

During my time there, I had the chance to teach A Level students, sit in on a range of lessons, and experience the school’s distinctive behavioural systems, rich cultural values, and infectious enthusiasm for learning. (2/6)

Every word of this post is beautiful & true. It is all too easy to lower our expectations of what children can do. We must guard against this by being open to challenge about whether we expect enough, not just with respect to curriculum, but also with behaviour & character.
