The reason I love Ultimate is this image.
It’s not that there were 22 Steves out of 364 (6% of players) or 13 ROBs (3.5%).
It’s that ALL 82 CHARACTERS were represented.
That’s really, really cool to me.
Even in games with smaller rosters, full rep doesn’t happen very often.

Money Matches should not take priority at friendlies stations at majors.
You already paid a venue fee to attend, you shouldn't have to pay additional money just for the "privilege" of getting 3-0ed by a top player and then being asked to move on.
In the Smash scene I think it's kind of sad that we have commodified the idea of friendlies. Between money matches and metafy we put a dollar sign on what use to just be sharing knowledge and experience with other players who have the same passion as you.

There still hasn’t been a singular good reason that PS2 is legal over PS1.
The only PS1 stage bug ever seen (stage clip) had the issue patched in 3.0, but players are STILL flying through the bottom of PS2.
PS1 should be legal at every event.
