The Dems have held Gov’s office for 16 of the last 24 years with candidates from Madison. I suppose you can say Evers is from Plymouth or Oshkosh or whatever, he moved around, but he’d lived in Madison for at least 17 years when he ran for Gov. Anyone from anywhere can win.
