West Bend Superintendent Jennifer Wimmer now tells me the offer to take over UW-Wash Co was "a preliminary draft" and mistakenly included in a meeting packet. She won't say if she had the approval of the other superintendents when she put their names in the letter.

The superintendents of the five public school districts in Washington County are offering to buy or take over the old UW-Wash Co campus. But I see no indication any of the five school boards OK'd this insane idea. I'll update on podcasts.

Where GOP Gov winners of last 75 yrs were from: Walker (Tosa), Thompson (Elroy), Dreyfus (Stevens Point), Knowles (New Richmond which is way up north and west), Vernon Thomson (Richland Center).

Two things are true about Wisconsin Gov elections. 1. Candidates from City of Milwaukee NEVER win. 2. When GOP runs a candidate from northern or western Wisconsin, they always win. And, this fact: the ONLY person in 80 years from Milw suburbs to win was Scott Walker.

GOP Gov Race: Tommy thinking about but won't run. Walker: Not running. Michels: Not running. Steil: ditto. Berrien: from non-existent wing of GOP. Schoemann: too busy sucking up for money he won't get. Matt Neumann: thinking about it. Tiffany the frontrunner by default.

Dem Gov race: Evers' team dislikes Rodriguez and HATES Kaul. Will likely back Godlewski because she was promised this for backing out of Senate race. Key questions: Who will big $ Hoffman and Soros Jr back? And who does Ben Wikler work for?.
