Our ABC, to its everlasting shame, has in effect been found guilty of caving to the Israel lobby. ▪️ABC has been found by the Federal Court to have wrongfully dismissed ABC journalist & to have made six breaches of law in doing so. ▪️The Court found a staff manager wrongly

Just a reminder that the ABC dragged this out and defended their disgraceful sacking of Antoinette Lattouf but were happy to settle with Bruce Lehrmann and pay him $150,000 instead of defending the truth Very cool public broadcaster!!

Just as disgusting that the ABC keeps referring to Joe Hockey as "former ambassador to the US". But fails to outline his current role as weapons industry lobbyist. If they insist on calling on Hockey re #AUKUS, journalistic standards demand that his interests are declared.

It is absolutely disgusting to be lectured on AUKUS by Joe Hockey. He has a vested interest in AUKUS continuing. This is a man who had no concern for Australians when in 2017 he was prepared to devastate our social security system.

The obvious question for legacy media: When will you change your tired view that 'the two-party system' is what matters? Even with Labor's massive majority in this parliament, it's clear that the real opposition is from progressive community independents and Greens. #auspol

both labor and independents enjoyed an identical 1.98% swing at the recent election. in fact, 45% more australians voted independent.

So a reminder: It’s not ‘liberals’ saying Hegseth abuses women. It’s his mom. It’s not ‘liberals’ comparing Trump to Hitler. It’s his vice-president. It’s not ‘liberals’ calling Musk a liar and a racist. It’s his own child. For the record.

The Government could pass legislation for Environment Protection Australia today if it agrees to close a loophole that would prevent the EPA looking at native forest logging. Let's do it. https://t.co/ynI3EGMxEW

A major theme in US election post-mortems has been the ascendance of social media influencers over mainstream press. What's been left unsaid is how Silicon Valley masterminded the shift.

Important thread from @jewsagainstfash on the offensively named Christian Fundamentalist 'Never Again is Now' movement. To all politicians attending these rallies, you can't say you thought they were just about antisemitism.

🧵1/27 Christian Zionist organisation 'Never Again Is Now' has held rallies all over ‘australia’ purporting to denounce antisemitism. Yet it has consistently demonstrated a trend of platforming, enabling and allowing the behaviour it apparently opposes.
