Finally figured out how I want to be judged. My playlist it is. It's called "Driving Collection" since I enjoy mellow music on my drives or at any time of the day. These are picked for the lyrics as much as the music & the nostalgia.

He held 6th highest office of the country, he was in charge of adjudicating legalities, he is himself acting illegally. It shows intent. He gave interviews instead of finding suitable alternate accommodation & invokes his family situation when questioned. Deserves scrutiny.
Seems like we spend a lot more energy on the question of whether a judge has vacated an official bungalow or whether the air-conditioners in the Supreme Court corridors should or should not have been removed, rather than on the actual jurisprudence of the Court.

Saw a restored print of Umrao Jaan in theatre last week and it was so beautifully done, the pacing too was quite decent and the music of course is timeless. A tragic tale told beautifully by Muzaffar Ali again. My first time watch and totally worth seeing in a theatre.
Finally watched Gaman only on the strength of the Muzaffar Ali hype & @MrNarci listing it as one of his fave Bombay films. Wasn't disappointed. What a humane, starkly unflinching & borderline depressing take on the futility of rural to urban migration for those of limited means.

Jain business people are the peak of hypocrisy. They will squeeze every drop of blood sweat and tear out of their employees/ help & make profit by simply trading goods adding no value at all but eating an onion, garlic or a potato is where they draw the line apparently.
