Dalit IPS officer Puran Kumar, known for speaking against casteism and admin bias, was found dead by suicide with a gunshot wound at his Chandigarh home. He had questioned unfair promotions and postings. Casteism doesnât see your money or position â it sees your caste.

I donât know â well-meaning lawyers celebrate these legal victories without knowing the harsh reality: how UGC keeps #HigherEd starved of funds in India. For instance, elite Delhi University colleges share one counsellor, and are not able to afford full-time counsellors.
