Yesterday I walked Skid Row with Senior Advisors from @HUDgov from LA and Washington DC. You all know I've been homeless and addicted to heroin and fentanyl. But what I saw yesterday, the suffering, the chaos the mental illness, the addiction, the trash, the filth, shook me. 🧵

Some of us have been warning since 2020 that "safe supply" is based on pseudoscience. Evidence shows it has caused addiction, fuelled fentanyl use & deaths and enriched organized crime. Everyone who pushed "safe supply" needs to be held accountable. https://t.co/4zmvkbj9Xl

Almost 53,000 Canadians are dead from addiction since 2016 under the Liberals. We still lose 20 people daily. Fentanyl flows into the Port of Vancouver by the tonne yet only 1% of shipping containers are searched. The Prime Minister must prioritize stopping fentanyl.
