🚨‼️ Trust me, you’ll want to watch this. The government keeps claiming they’re investing in treatment — but the numbers tell a very different story. Out of 2,136 publicly funded beds in B.C., only 806 are actual treatment beds. The rest? Supportive recovery, not clinical

I’m often asked what I would do differently if I were in government, and how we can solve this crisis. As part of the Opposition, I don’t have the same ability to change legislation or reallocate the budget that those in government do. My role as the Official Opposition Critic

🎙️ Thanks to Adam Stirling for having me on the show yesterday. We had an important conversation about the mental health crisis facing B.C. paramedics, and how it’s connected to the ongoing drug crisis, and deep flaws in our health care system. Looking forward to speaking with

🚨 B.C. Paramedics Need Support Now. The rising number of suicides among paramedics is a warning we cannot ignore. These frontline heroes are responding to overdoses, trauma, and emergencies daily, but when they need help, the system is not there to support them. Today, I’m

I’ll give you an idea for a good place to start “fighting for workers”. Start by responding to the permit applications coming from the people in my riding! . Your government has destroyed this industry that used to be the back bone of Skeena and now First Nations leaders can’t.

BC is the second-largest exporter of softwood lumber in the world. We’ll keep fighting for workers and push for a long-term softwood deal. My statement on the Prime Minister’s announcement of new supports for Canada’s forestry sector 👇🏾. #bcpoli #BCForestry

B.C. is still losing almost 5 people a day to the poisoned drug supply, and the NDP continues to double down on a failed approach. New Coroners Service data shows that trades, transport, and equipment operators account for the highest number of lives lost. These are working

Mental health in the trades is a growing problem we cannot ignore. Over 80% of construction workers report struggling with mental health, and substance use in the industry is nearly double the national average. This isn’t just a health issue, it’s a workforce issue, a safety

Starting August 2025, UHNBC may transfer pregnant women out of our region due to a shortage of obstetrical specialists. While the mother’s travel costs may be covered, spouses, children, and support people are not—leaving families to shoulder the financial burden. Once again,
