Excited to share our work for @sundayrobotics, the team behind Memo, the helpful home robot. Together with our partners @Std_Projects and Pocket Pictures we led the strategy, brand, website, launch campaign and more. Visit https://t.co/X77AYEhpUG to meet Memo and see the work.

Not only did @brainstub and @flooburrito nail the brand @sundayrobotics, they also managed the first 200 data collectors before scaling our data ops team (among countless other things) Camilla also named Sunday and Memory Developers, which is where the name Memo came from
this might be a generational company purely on the brand: "Sunday is for you" actual perfection. you don't see that often

Working with people who built stuff you use every day is the best
After almost 5 years working on autonomy at @Tesla_AI, I've started a new chapter at @sundayrobotics. This place reminds me so much of the early days of FSD: working with some of the smartest people in the world on some of humanity's hardest problems (and having a blast while

Excited to share I’ve joined @sundayrobotics The last 7 years at @Tesla_AI have been the most exciting and impactful journey of my career. I’ve had the opportunity to build and lead the ML systems that now power FSD and Optimus. From large scale training of video -> action

I'm so excited for @sundayrobotics . It's just so well-designed, the little details -- the pinky opening the dishwasher, the in-hand reordering of objects -- they're so good!!! congratulations to @tonyzzhao @chichengcc and the team.

Kyle is the reason why the arms have no visible wires and the hands have zero (!) parting lines. Thank you for all the late nights wrestling with the ID surfaces and even shaving down the camera connectors by hand, just so that we can keep Memo looking as simple as possible

In less than six months, Haichuan went from assembling gloves to managing a team of six technicians and handling supply chain for both Skill Capture Gloves and Memo. Insane career trajectory
Never imagined starting my career in the bedroom of a hacker house, but I'll be forever grateful for this beginning.❤️ I believe in robotics, yet I believe even more in the people who build the robot. I believe in leaders that are visionary robotics experts with down-to-earth

You’d be surprised by how small the team is @sundayrobotics. Most “teams” here are actually just one person This is only the beginning. Come build with us:

It started with @tonyzzhao and @chichengcc in their apartment in April 2024. We moved out of our hacker house in Mountain View in February of 2025 with 10 people. Today, we have over 30 team members. Velocity of progress to a real, useful robot is everything to us. The progress

Leaving my stable job to take a bet on some 20-somethings in a garage wouldn’t be viewed by many people as the prudent choice. Those people haven’t met @clayhaight and @tonyzzhao. Thanks for letting me come along on the ride, guys. I’m humbled by your talents daily.

I wouldn't be here if not for my time and learning @maticrobots. Matic is not only the best robovac, but the best robot you can have in your house today Get one before the price goes up on December 2:
maticrobots.com
The world's most advanced floor cleaner. Your home's best helper.
both @maticrobots and @sundayrobotics have quickly become my favorite robotics companies. it won't be long until the world starts to realize great design + wheel-based systems are far superior than any other form factor

The irony of working in robotics is that the more I work on robots, the more I’m awed by the elegant design of human hands and body, not to mention the ingenuity and dedication of the people I work with. Memo still has a long way to go to catch up with humans
Going to describe my household responsibilities as long-horizon, highly dexterous, precise, whole-body manipulation combined with delicate, transparent, reflective, and deformable objects from now on Been underselling how I provide for my family

Props to @MonikerSF + @Std_Projects for the phenomenal work on the branding and web design for @sundayrobotics. I love how they created the lore through iconography, the delightful micro-interactions, a flexible design language, all the while keeping the content front and center
this might be my favorite web designs of late. tasteful, not over-the-top. good content, typography, flow, and performant & delightful micro-interactions. kudos to whoever designed and built this!

I always thought robots would be everywhere, but it wasn’t clear until @tonyzzhao and @chichengcc's transformative discoveries that actually showed the path forward. I am so grateful and proud to be a part of an amazing team to bring us just a little bit closer to that future

I was unemployed and surfing in Nicaragua when Clayton slid into my DMs. He had me at “I just joined a startup.” Always check your DMs
2 years ago I was working on trying to productionize ALOHA, when Tony told me on a call he wanted to build home robots. I stopped working on it, dropped everything, and moved into a quaint house in Mountain View. Since then I've had the pleasure of working with this world class

ACT-1 is a special model, it can read the map of your house to figure out where your furniture and appliances are positioned (e.g. dining table, dishwasher). this is crucial for zero-shot deployment into unseen homes. and it's all end-to-end!
It is even more fun to see how Memo reacts to unseen environments. We deploy it to 6 unseen Airbnbs and task the robot with fine-grained tasks such as picking up utensils from the plate. Because we train on data from over 500 homes, the new home is instantly familiar to Memo.

Henry quietly built a software infrastructure in the browser that handles data operations, review, installing firmware (!), HW production and more. I didn’t even know a browser could write to a USB device. Henry is truly one of the rare 100× engineers
Last summer: Quit my job in Seattle. Moved to a hacker house in Moutain View. Started building with the best team I've ever worked with. ❤️ Joining @sundayrobotics was the craziest move of my career. Also the best. We're just getting started. 🚀

In a future where robots are everywhere, it’s important that we can tell their roles easily and for people to customize their robots, just like how they do with furniture and other things they bring into their home
This 'vote on what hat Memo should wear next' feature from @sundayrobotics is the best example I've seen yet of trying to humanize personal home robots 🧢
