Finally dedicating time today to writing. I mostly got the structure down and I'm getting motivated to write jokes. I wish I was faster at this shit but I have short bursts of creativity, then long periods of doubt that it's any good lol. I'm sure a lot of folks can relate.

I retitled and rethumbnailed my old BioShock video. Check it out if you've never seen it! It was like, the first video I ever made, and I used a wireless gaming headset to record the audio. Had to rerecord so much due to wireless interference

I monetized my channel because I was able to. Fully expect to be demonetized on the modern gaming video. Probably will start a "per creation" patreon but not until my next idea is towards the end of the process. I won't let monetization dictate the videos, always uncensored!

No, Baldur's Gate 3 did not save gaming. I don't want to look at one of the most intimidating UI systems I've ever seen to maybe enjoy an RPG that is still too long for someone with a job. Starfield too, someone said you only need to play for a "few hours" before it's good.

The solution to make an RPG good is not all this "mile-wide inch deep" stuff. It's to craft a tight experience without the bloat. Mass effect 2, deus ex, and Chrono trigger all nailed that for me personally.

I'm no authority, but it's how I felt for sure. A ton of people told me to check out eastern and more indie games but the feeling of disillusionment still cuts. There's definitely diamonds out there though.

MW2 2021 story was fucking godawful as well. MW 2019 wasn't so bad, but people should just play the original trilogy instead and stop kidding themselves that the series will ever revisit those highs again.

Damn that would be cool but I only played Morrowind, oblivion, and Skyrim for like a combined total of 4 hours. Bethesda games don't do it for me. I'd be forcing it, but I agree, fresh points on those games are needed due to current blind hype for starfield.
