I've gotten into the habit of using they/them pronouns for everyone until they tell me their pronouns or I feel comfortable clarifying with them. Especially at work. I want to help people understand that pronouns just can't be assumed and should be fully respected.

- are you free right now?
I need immediate direct context, or my brain will spiral out of control into worst case scenarios
The AuDHD reality that the words "We need to talk soon please" instantly send me into a state of near-overwhelm.
It sets my RSD firing wildly.
Usually for something that isn't a big deal at all.
