AURORA TIMELAPSE: What was the most frustrating aurora hunt turned into one of the best. Red and pinks turned to blue higher in the sky as the sun illuminated them; you can see the blue line fall as dawn approached and traffic on the road to the lower right picked up as people

Just had to share this video I just downloaded from my camera of the INSANE pulsating aurora last night in Fairbanks, Alaska. Mesmerizing to see the sky light up like this. The video is not sped up at all and the pulsations were easily visible to the naked eye.

Another one just after 11pm at Bass Lake, California. This time I put the camera against a tree stump for 2 minutes in night sight mode. Adjusted shadows and saturation to bring out the color a bit (the Tunnel View one is unedited).

Aurora just after 7pm at Tunnel View in Yosemite (looking at El Cap and Half Dome) taken with an Android phone. Kinda blurry bc I was holding it on a low wall (no tripod) but nice color! 90 second Night Sight exposure.
