Grateful that Andrew Neil is enough of an expert on expertise to remind us that we really shouldn't be having thoughts, let alone opinions, on things, but honestly not enough of an expert on Andrew Neil to know whether this is wisdom or brain fart.

Enjoyed writing on the future of skiing for @Longreads, w/ @wells_ca editing. Skiing is a frivolous & often elitist pursuit. But how ski communities react to climate change is relevant beyond the mountains. Feat pieces by @Tris_Kennedy, @CathleenCalkins, @Joshuaiveshamme & more.

And a truly delightful photography collection by Australian photographer @Rovenko charting the daring adventures of Rocket Girl: a space ranger exploring a strange planet (also Rovenko’s space-obsessed daughter). (7/10).

Mallory Duncan weaves music, poetry, sketch, skiing, and black culture together for a ski film that feels genuinely fresh. Great tunes, fun scenes, high stoke. And a round-the-globe birdsong broadcast offers the perfect way to celebrate Dawn Chorus Day, on 5th May. (6/10).
