Use it as a tool to get started, or edit what you’ve already made. But if you’re a scientist, writing the paper IS how you process data and derive real-time new insights. Don’t deprive yourself of this, or you’re missing the point & your paper will probably still suck.
Yes. Writing is not a second thing that happens after thinking. The act of writing is an act of thinking. Writing *is* thinking. Students, academics, and anyone else who outsources their writing to LLMs will find their screens full of words and their minds emptied of thought.

Perhaps one of the more subtle evils of fiat money printing & currency debasement:. It masks and captures all of the natural price decreases which technology and free-market capitalism creates. Things which would normally be getting cheaper over time instead get more expensive.
It is kind of astonishing that prices keep inflating despite decades of exponential technology improvement, which is exponentially deflationary. People simply cannot fathom the magnitude of theft by fiat money.
