What if this time allows us to let go of all previous assumptions about what we “have” to do with kids? If schools can simplify the curriculum, cancel standardized testing, & put kids’ socio-emotional wellness first right now...why can’t we reimagine systems and do that always?

The Marching Hornets opened their 2019 season tonight. The Hornets scored a 72.5 and took home the 1st place trophy.

I had a lot on my lesson plans for this upcoming Thursday...I asked myself, "is this necessary for mastery or just a time filler?" I took some stuff off my plans... More is not always better. Give them time to digest what you are teaching... Give them more time on assessments..
