After finishing the Swedish tree in @duolingo I was looking forward to getting back into German, but I can't stand the character voices!! Guess it'll be Danish instead, then #LanguageLearning.

Blood is blue?? Citation needed. "Human blood is red, hemocyanin is blue" would have worked better.

A new technique to reverse specific aneuploidies in cancer cell lines reveals mechanistic insights about the role of aneuploidy in tumorigenesis. Really cool work!.
Very excited to share a new paper from my lab: using a set chromosome-engineering tools, we show that cancers are “addicted” to aneuploidy. If you genetically eliminate single aneuploid chromosomes, cancer cells totally lose their malignant potential!.

So tragic, i love this area. I haven't heard that anyone was hurt but i hope the building can be saved.
A car crashed into a block of stores at Corinth St. Roslindale. The driver was transported by @BOSTON_EMS .The building has been evacuated, for concern of a potential collapse.

Wow! Good to know - I wish I'd known about this before I implemented a sorting algorithm myself 😂 Well, I learned multiple things today then. #AdventOfCode2022.
Another #Python gem from functools: cmp_to_key(). Imagine you need to sort a list and you have a custom function that outputs if one item comes before or after another. Turns out you can use Python's sort with your custom function!.

The past couple days of #AdventOfCode2022 have been a crash course in algorithms! I first taught myself python for parsing genomic data, and have never learned algorithms formally. Fun to be learning something new!.
