Why was heritage placed within DFC? We have seen how weak this department has been in dealing with this kind of irreplaceable environmental damage, & yet Stormont continues to ignore the issue. The historic environment IS PART OF THE ENVIRONMENT, & protected by the EIA regs.

Not just Belfast. They've been ruining the SETTING of ancient monuments (even those protected by law!), for years. Utterly clueless. #systemfailni #saveknockiveagh.
What is it with the planners in Belfast? We build two recognizable iconic structures, Waterfront Hall and Titanic, which send out positive messages about our recovery from years of destruction and then they are covered from view with artless blocks. Mad!!

@deptinfra @StephenNolan Who benefits? Not the public, at Knock Iveagh it's the off-shore companies who generate millions in ROCS from a flawed renewables scheme. Time to take control & restore some integrity to the system!.
