There ought to be a code of honour. No politician ought to be allowed to refer to the loss of lives of our forces during elections speeches. It's deplorable. They milk our emotions and do nothing for us, it's only for themselves and winning an elections that matters.

The issue of the officer dismissed from 3 CAV could have been avoided & remained an internal event. 1. If indeed the officer disobeyed a lawful command, he should have been tried by court martial where he would have the opportunity to prove his innocence or face the consequences.
