Looks like the Youngkin political machine is starting to come back to life. Expect this will start to be spread around Republican candidates this year. Should help close the gap to a certain extent. Today is last day of campaign finance period with reports due September 15.
Billionaire Jeffrey Yass gave Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin's PAC one million dollars. This is on top of the two million dollars Yass gave to Youngkin's PAC back in 2023.

Every Virginia Democratic Governor in modern era won as moderate. It hasnāt broke out of light blue shade. All that is to say Virginia is different than NYC. So this more a function of politicians responding to electorate. Dems need flexibility in who they run depending on race.
Democratic Party moderates see Virginia governor hopeful Abigail Spanberger as a more politically viable standard-bearer than the likes of New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani

IMO this is more of a technical correction. Department of Corrections says this inmate was released 28 days early due to the 2020 sentencing reform. But the crime he committed occurred months after he would have been released anyways. The 2020 law had nothing to do with it.
Lies run. Truth endures. The Applewhites never deserved to have their pain deepened by sloppy reporting. I will always stand up for victims, even if it means being smeared by the liberal media.

Spanberger giving more thoughts on redistricting. At least for Virginia, acknowledges not really possible to change maps in 2026 bc of State Constitution. But understands there are winnable seats. VA-2 is always a battleground . And VA-1 similar to old VA-7 she flipped in 2018.

The early release at issue for this offender was 28 days. The tragedy that later happened was months after that. So this offender would have been released anyways . The 2020 sentencing reform law had nothing to do with this tragedy
To be clear, this violent criminal took advantage of Jay Jonesā soft on crime, early release policy. He then committed manslaughter, killing a young lady with her whole life in front of her. RTDās Luca Powellās reporting to the contrary is wrong and should be retracted with an.
