This is exactly what Secret Cinema Stranger Things was - a temporary event where they recreated Starcourt Mall, you'd dress up in 80s gear, leave your phone at the door & everything inside was like a timewarp into the 80s. Really fun - would totally go again.

one thing i found off with the animation in the JW movies is the movement & weight- the dinos have a very quick, light & floaty movement in those films - whereas here you can literally feel how heavy the Rex is, every movement has weight & leverage action & the speed compenstates
There's been no shortage of praise for Jurassic Park's VFX over the last 30 years, but it still blows my mind how right they got it the first time out of the gate with brand new technology. The dinosaur animation rivals anything contemporary. Such power and weight.

Honestly love Jia, better character in every respect, gets a terrific narrative & wonderfully played by Kaylee who gives her heart. Madison is just there, paper thin with Millie phoning it in, riding on her ST fame, doing it as she looked for other projects she cared about more.

finding out now that the actors were given an AI-generated script that made no sense with lines such as "an evil chocolate maker called the Unknown lives in the walls" & instead of disputing it they just went with it & no wonder kids were crying 😭😭😅

tbh I don't think they should've changed the JP3 logo from what it originally was, I get that they're trying to keep the overall franchise branding consistent, but the Spino was it's original iconic logo for years - this feels like erasure & quite damaging to its legacy🤷🏾♂️
