Kong and Shimo are “Bonded” according to the novelization of GxK. Makes sense since Kong killed her abuser and found him to be so caring to her by what we saw in the ending of GxK. That moment was so touching. The way she reacted to Kong’s care touch. Made me smile so hard.

In my 4th viewing of Godzilla X Kong i was seated next to a family of 5, 3 young children and after the movie ended one of the kids said “that movie is the best movie of all time dad” while the other siblings agreed with him. It was such a wholesome moment to witness. 🥹🥹
