The FT and other pub’s real bread and butter is access and trend stories. You can’t replicate those with AI unless you’re either interviewing execs yourself. Otherwise if you’re just taking news and personalizing it, you’re publishing after it’s moved markets.

People don’t want a chatbot that tells them “this news impacted your position this much.” That’s a watchlist and a number and they have both already. They want a curated collection of info outside of the obvious things they know impact their portfolio.
I built a AI native version of the Financial Times... It's better than the FT in two ways: 1) Each article is written bespoke for each reader. Not "markets were down yesterday." Instead: "Apple fell 2.3%. That's -$215 on your S&P 500 position." Every story, through the lens of

Harper is gonna do this in season 5 of industry btw
Wow, about the Citrini's article: "the authorship attribution on a report attributed to market-moving was changed after publication, and the co-author is the managing partner of a $262 million SEC-registered hedge fund who confirmed short positions in the companies the report

The lawyers at B******** are about to have a field day
Perplexity just became the the first Al company to truly go head-to-head with the Bloomberg Terminal... Using Perplexity Computer (with no local setup or single LLM limitation), it was able to build me a terminal with real-time data to analyze $NVDA using Perplexity Finance:

James Cameron has now had two fierce warrior queens get charmed by a goofy lil guy. I wonder if he’s expressing any sort of hope here
I love how she's genuinely charmed by his goofy ass like imagine telling a dude you're gonna straight-up kill him and he just kicks his feet and teehees. I'd hear him out too idk 🤚

And don’t forget Don fell in love with her when she was literally secretary and vacation au pair. He can’t handle her having wants or dreams that aren’t his originally.

Don is shown to be old school. He understands the malaise of the modern world and exploits it in his work. But his thinking is stuck in the 50s and before. See: Betty and the bikini. Megan fell in love with the disguise Don put on, and that’s who she keeps trying to make happy.

This kind of approach is how to get the most out of a show like mad men imo. It’s not about who’s right and who’s wrong. It’s about the relationship between these two people and why both people did what they did and reacted how they did
megan draper zou bisou bisou is an incredible rorschach test for relationships... do you see it as a woman making a fool of her husband or do you see it as a gesture of love... could it possibly be both..... are these irreconcilable differences in opinion........
