Excited to share our new article which explores coordination-induced O-H and N-H bond weakening using earth-abundant metals like aluminum and iron! Did you know weakening these bonds is crucial for targeted reactivity and renewable energy? Thank you @NealMankad @SoumenSinha87.
I'm pleased to share our first publication in @NatureComms led by @SoumenSinha87 @roushanpsingh. A pleasure to collaborate with Dan Ess & team again!.

Excited to share our group's strategies to stabilize mononuclear Al radicals! Redox-active ligands + strained geometries give Al biphilic character, letting it mimic d-/f-block metals. Thanks @NealMankad for the guidance!
Check out our Perspective on Al(II) chemistry in @JACS_Au led by @roushanpsingh. Thanks to the editors for inviting us to participate in their special issue on sustainable small molecule activation!.

Our publication in @J_A_C_S demonstrates that aluminum radicals can reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) through a single electron reduction which is typically thermodynamically less favorable. I am grateful to my PI, @NealMankad, for his constant support and motivation.
Our latest Al-Fe research is published in @J_A_C_S. Led by my student Roushan @ChemistryatUIC and our collaboration with Dan Ess of BYU, we are starting to map the chemistry of Al(II) through this mild approach!.

The LdippAl(Me) radical exhibits reactivity comparable to divalent F-block elements. A comprehensive analysis of heterobimetallic electronic structures demonstrates the mechanistic diversity that arises from systems combining p-block and d-block metals. Thank you @NealMankad!
Fresh off presenting the work at CRIC-5 this weekend, check out the latest study by @roushanpsingh on Al/M chemistry published in @InorgChem .
