Though it doesn't happen as much as I'd like, I'm always so pleased when the name of one of my favorite authors -- Charles Beaumont -- pops up, as in this fine article dated today: https://t.co/3CLB5ECRPs
thebulwark.com
The writer died before his fortieth birthday—but left behind an influential catalogue of stories and unforgettable Twilight Zone episodes.

After looking forward for a month+ to @joelansdale's birthday signing last night at The Poisoned Pen, events conspired against me and I missed it.🙁 Next time, Joe. I'll swing by the store later. Won't everyone join me and give Joe a belated bday gift by picking up his new one?

WHEN THE WOLF COMES HOME by @natcassidy is one of the most entertaining horror novels I’ve read in a while. No, it’s not perfect (editor Ron would’ve trimmed off Part Four), but it’s a very compulsive tale w/ a lot of heart and it walks that difficult balance well. Recommended.👍🏻

Hey, Brian, I stumbled upon this while doing research with a back-issue of @CemeteryDance from 2005. It’s a reminder that every successful small press is a story of risk, resilience, and the confidence that something big can come from small beginnings. @LividianPub
