This is a great interview of the principals involved in Stark House, one of my favorite publishers.
Scott Montgomery catches up with the publishers behind Stark House (@StarkHousePress)'s quarter-century of dedication to the genre and its history.

Hey, Jules @julesburt, I'm sure you're already well aware of this, but just on the off-chance it's escaped your attention, Penguin has released a new promotional series:

For those of us who read a great deal of horror & have become inured, it takes a uniquely eerie gem to prompt that frisson of true unease we chase but rarely find. “The Dark Brothers’ Last Ride” by @RonaldMalfi is that gem. Two novellas down, two to go…time to dive back in.

Childhood grail experience unlocked: While seeing the fantastic @sammyhagar concert last night at the @Barrett_Jackson arena, I stood next to an absolute icon of my childhood, one of several existing Batmobiles used in the ‘60s @Batman TV show starring Adam West and Burt Ward.

I'm lucky enough to have the 1982 paperback 1st of this one --cover shown below-- but for those who aren't as fortunate, I'd highly recommend Barry Hammond's COLD FRONT, coming soon from @fathom_press . one of those rare exceptions where the book nearly does live up to the hype.
Cold Front by Barry Hammond 1982. Rare Canadian winter horror novel that is being reissued by @fathom_press this month! I just posted my review up on the blog and youtube. The youtube video has a bonus feature of other vintage winter horror. #horror

SAFECRACKER by Jesse DeRoy is one of the best debut crime novels I’ve read in years. With touches of Stark’s Parker series and @authorsteve Hamilton’s coming-of-age THE LOCK ARTIST, DeRoy’s and his young antihero protagonist unlocked my recent reading rut with explosive talent.

I was today years old when I learned that an image I've always loved was the inspiration for a scene in one of my favorite movies. Thanks for the insight, @ATRightMovies.
A standout shot comes in Neil’s ocean-view apartment, where we pan up from a gun on the table to Neil in the window, lit in neon blue. Mann took the idea of the shot from a 1964 painting by Canadian artist Alex Colville, called Pacific. 26/46
