A great read!
Looking for something to read over a rainy weekend? Might I recommend Flint's Honor? Number 8 in my Marshal Ezra Flint series, and probably my bestselling book to date! https://t.co/sYNfbUxpRT

While not the best of Short's works (the ending seems off, but slightly clever at the same time), it's still a solid read. A drifter is dumped into town with buckshot in his stomach. After recovering, he is looking for work. His new job puts him against the power of the town.

Loved the first one so this was a quick buy.
Paperback is live! Originally titled: Brian's Birthday Bloodbath II: Ascension, I clipped it only for the cover. This nasty blood clot puts you in the floppy shoes of our clown, Bones, mutating into an inhuman horror. This one is a fun, brutal, bloody birthday good time π€‘π€ππͺ

A lesser Dawson, but still a great read. Young white male cattleman and young Mexican gal from rich sheep rancher family fall in love. Of course, that causes lots of problems since the two sides hate each other. Great writing makes up for tired plot.

A nice collection of horror novellas from @LexLokiavelli. All are very unique tales and each holds up. A wide range of settings from a quiet residential street to a space base on Europa to Hell itself. Each set up is so well done that it brings you into the tale quickly.

Another great book in the Flint series by @ScottMcCreaWest. A fast pace adventure with Flint teamed up with Black Jack, the reformed gambler from another tale. Flint lets a prisoner go but it looks like he then killed an older couple he was working for. Flint vows to get him.

Enjoyed The Last July by Plimpton and Curry so much that I decided to read Curry's great solo book. This has even more stories about his playing days plus expands some of the stuff in The Last July. Does this while listing the men who changed his life the most from football.

A random one from the western bookcase. A first from the author for me, but I will look up more of his work, really enjoyed it. Ross is back after 3 years in prison for killing 3 men, but he doesn't remember. He wants that memory back and to find the ones that killed his fiance.

A fun horror western by @lhallwriter. John Arthur is an outlaw looking for a big score for him and his adoptive daughter. When one falls into his lap, it was too good to be true after monsters attack. Now he and his daughter are just trying to stay alive. Great fast paced read.

The 4th book in this great series by @bobbynash. Its a perfect blend of a western and supernatural horrors. Dante has been destroyed by the so called event (a demon), and is being rebuilt. There are still creatures about, some are important citizens. Dante is a dangerous place.

A great novella by @TimWolffAuthor starring Mute. Its been five years since the last one and Mute is king and bored. At least another guy coming for the throne, with the same gift as Mute, will spice things up. Mute is a fun character and narrator, looking forward to what's next.

A great read by @huwlangridge. One where based on description, you'd get a Jumanji feel, but it uses the board game ideal in a totally different way. Is well written and has well drawn characters. Quick read that I'd think most would like.

A great collection of shorts by @RonMcGillvray. Having good luck with collections, this is another one I couldn't put down and read straight through. Great at sucking you in quickly. Ends in a fantastic novella that's a sci-fi/horror tale that deals with a nasty military project.

The end of the trilogy in this fantastic mountain man series by @ScottMcCreaWest. The man they called Adam is searching for his real name still after suffering amnesia. An enemy sends gunmen after him and he must protect new friends. Fast paced read with a great cast of bad guys.

The latest work read was really good. Basically, it's just center Bill Curry on his way to try and make one more year in the NFL after 10 years and bad legs. Plimpton travels with him with a recorder talking about football and life.
