The absurdity of recent Arts Council funding cuts really hit home today while at the Watermill. Here’s a venue loved by its audiences, that serves its community & beyond, and makes top-notch work. Why risk all that by stripping it of its funding? Recklessly shortsighted IMO.

Lord of the Rings @WatermillTh is outstanding, elemental, irreverent. The epic scale of production mixed with intimacy of the space, beauty of the outside of it and the pure level of total artistry is unbeatable. You’ll be gutted if you miss it. Big up that place and that team.
