My life in Newcastle was always with mitophagy. Thrilled to share this story published @Dev_Cell illustrating mitophagy as an anti-ageing programme in human cells. Amazing collaborations with George Kelly and other lab members @VIKorolchuk. Enjoy!!!.

Happy to share our new paper published in Cell Death & Disease! We showed either FDA-approved autophagy activating drugs or orally bioavailable NAD precursors can promote cell survival including neurons in Niemann-Pick Type C disease models.
