You can’t have Zohran without his politics. The authenticity can’t be replicated by those who place *any* special interest above that of people. No amount of branding, poll testing, or special order of words papers over that. Zohran works because his #1 priority is New Yorkers

This graph isn’t picking up a lot of our spending because it’s coming late, but we’re past $1M total with more media running this weekend. We will publish more about what we did after Election Day, but know that a lot of people worked very hard at NYLC to help elect Zohran.

We know that’s not Bloomberg money; progressive IE fundraising is challenging for the obvious reasons; but we worked hard for it and think it will make a difference in a close race.

Hey guys, I helped run the effort. We raised over $450K in grassroots/small dollar donations. For a 3 month period for an organization no one had heard of before, we’re proud of that. We’ve raised more than $1.5M total.
At some point I’d like to see a story written about the inner workings of the main pro-Mamdani super PAC (New Yorkers for Lower Costs) & why they were unable to harness the enthusiasm behind Mamdani (even pre-AOC endorsement) & translate that into a small dollar fundraising boom.
