Fortunately no further mutations in Mpro of PANGO lineages BA.2 & BA.3. All with same P3395H (ORF1a) mutation. Same (=none at all?) impact on #paxlovid effectiveness.Anybody seen enzyme inhibition data?.
#Omicron mutation P132H in SARS-CoV-2 main protease (nsp5 = Mpro = 3CLpro) ~22Å away from active site but on same loop; expecting minimal impact on #Pfizer drug PF-07321332 (nirmatrelvir, #paxlovid active ingredient) inhibition; data?
