One of the things I love about photography is how it reveals details I may never have noticed otherwise. This photo shows the white tips of a Pileated Woodpecker wing, which can be difficult to see when the bird is in flight and viewed with the naked eye.

Outside of husbandry/environment related issues (obesity, malnutrition, stress/boredom related plucking, etc), I think lovebirds are the parrot species with the most species-related health issues. Polyfolliculitis, CUD, hormonal issues, highly susceptible to viruses like PBFD.
