August 2, 2025 Thompson #rcmpmb responds to a stabbing on Thompson Drive. A 26-year-old man was tabbed. The RCMP is asking for help identifying two men and one woman. Call 204-843-2691 / Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477

. Security later located the vehicle abandoned near the lagoon. Sandy Lake Search and Rescue later discovered the male deceased in the water of the lagoon. No foul play suspected.

Aug 7 Yellowhead #rcmpmb received a report of a missing 27yo male from Shoal Lake who was last seen in Keeseekoowenin FN. Officers learned the male was the driver of a vehicle that fled from Keeseekoowenin security after a traffic stop was attempted the previous night…

Aug 9, @approx 7:30 am, Portage #rcmpmb were dispatched to a complaint about shots fired at a residence in RM Norfolk, near roads 58W and 67N. Residents believed a bullet was shot through the front window of the house & another into a camper. No injures Investigation continues.

. Warrant issued for 21yo Styles Hotain. He was brought to Minnedosa RCMP detachment by a family member & arrested. Charged with 4 offences including Robbery w/offensive weapon.

Aug 3@approx 10pm, Wasagaming #rcmpmb responded to an armed robbery at a business on Main St in Strathclair. Officers responded & learned male suspect fled on foot with cash & alcohol. Search for suspect was unsuccessful.

On Wednesday, July 23rd, Manitoba RCMP had the honour of joining the Anishinaabe Child & Family Services Youth Gathering in Fairford! Officers connected with youth to share what it takes to become a police officer and spoke about the importance of standing up to bullying.

This weekend, officers with the Manitoba RCMP Marine Unit and the Manitoba RCMP Emergency Response Team conducted a joint patrol on Lake of the Woods near the international border. Our officers spoke to boaters throughout the day about staying safe on the water. #RCMPMB

Wabowden RCMP & the Integrated Missing Persons Coordination Centre continue to search for missing 40yo Travis Bittern. He was last seen June 27 walking on highway 6 near Wabowden, wearing a black tshirt & blue plaid pajama pants, he has a feather tattoo on right arm.

As a result of the ongoing investigation into the fatal shooting in Keeseekoowenin FN, on July 28, Manitoba RCMP Major Crime Services has identified and is searching for Frank La Forge, 52, who is a suspect. He is WANTED for 1st degree murder & attempted murder.

On July 29, RCMP officers stopped a vehicle for traveling 131km/h in a 90km/h zone on Hwy 373. The vehicle had already been pulled over earlier that day for speeding but with a different driver. Both drivers received multiple tickets and close to $3,000 worth of fines.

. and told officers a female on an ATV attempted to run them over, and others at the scene. RCMP arrested & charged Nikita Cochrane, 26 with numerous charges. Investigation continues.

Aug 3 @approx 10pm, Berens River #rcmpmb attended a residence in the community about a possible fight in progress. Officers arrived and located 2 adult females injured. They were taken to the nursing station.
