And in Alberta the NDP are promising the same net zero plan that the Sask NDP voted against. The Sask NDP understand net zero by ‘35 will cause massive rate hikes and base load reliability problems. Could this be a big election issue in Ab in the last 2 weeks?

Today on International Forests Day let’s celebrate and talk about the importance of Alberta’s forests on our environment. Forests act as natural carbon sinks by capturing CO2 from the atmosphere and storing it into their biomass and soil. Forests are also vital to ensure…

An F1 driver who uses oil every day AND is sponsored by Aramco, the Saudi oil company, calls our oil a “crime”? The world needs more Alberta energy. As your leader of the UCP I will stand up everyday to anti-oil politicians and their celebrity friends.

In 2015, Rachel Notley forced a punitive carbon tax on Albertans, the single biggest tax hike in our provinces history. Today, leadership hopefuls have seen the light and “oppose” the carbon tax…well only on social media… Once again, in the legislature yesterday, the NDP…

The @albertaNDP and @RachelNotley are apparently so supportive of Justin Trudeau, that they are now producing videos endorsing Steven Guilbeault’s 2035 net-zero target, a plan that will make Albertans poorer and our power grid less reliable. It’s shocking, but not surprising.

My response to Danielle Smith's fear-mongering about a net-zero electricity grid. It's time for serious leadership. For our kids. For our economy. For our collective future.

Economist Trevor Tombe has called the proposed federal emissions cap “counterproductive and unnecessarily costly.” This is a never-ending theme with this federal government, who simply don’t care about affordability. Full article here👇

The federal Liberals have lost in court, again. The court found their actions "unreasonable and unconstitutional." Labelling perfectly safe consumer plastics as "toxic" put thousands of jobs and billions of investment dollars at risk. Read more here:

Shocking numbers show that the federal oil & gas cap will cut production by 1M+ barrels and end almost 10,000 jobs. This will not just impact the oil sands - but also conventional. This would be devastating for municipalities, Alberta and Canada.

Today, at #COP28 , I announced $31M in funding for nine new emission reducing projects ranging from batteries to bitumen beyond combustion. These projects will reduce emissions by 280,000 tonnes per-year, create 780 jobs, and inject $272M into AB’s GDP by 2025.

Parents learned today they no longer have $25/day child care. Now, the UCP says they will fund it for a couple more months on a hope that Ottawa bails them out. Enough. Parents shouldn't have to wonder day after day if they have affordable child care or not. #ableg #childcare
