This new energy efficiency framework will provide continued and expanded opportunities through @SaveonEnergyOnt for residential and business electricity consumers in Ontario to manage their electricity use and costs. 2/3.

Energy efficiency is often the first place we turn to during electricity planning and continues to play a key role in reliability, which is why the Government of Ontario and the IESO are launching a bold new 12-year, $10.9 billion electricity demand-side management framework. 1/3.

The IESO’s recent forecasts show that demand will increase by 75 per cent by 2050 because of new industrial facilities, proposed data centres and ongoing electrification. To meet this demand, the IESO is moving forward with the LT2 RFP.
