The City of Austin is misappropriating funds from Austin Public Health to legal services for immigrants. This is a pattern of abuse of taxpayer dollars. I find this untenable. If it concerns you too, tell your council member:

Save Austin Now's "calculator" says someone who buys a $400,000 home now will pay $10,649 in property tax if Prop Q passes. That's not even close to true. I did the math the other day. A $400,000 house will owe $6,228 total prop taxes (city/county, AISD etc) if Prop Q passes.
