It's fascinating how siloed coastal Democrats are. They truly see "working class" and "welfare recipient" as the same thing. It's the same problem as them thinking Trump would lose favor with Latinos by enforcing immigration. They simply can't see huge swaths of the electorate.
it is kind of wild that at the peak of its popularity with working class voters, the GOP passed the biggest rollback of the welfare state since Reagan.

Pixar is dead. They were going to release a movie about a "queer-coded" 11-year old, then it had to get almost totally redone because test audiences hated it, and then it flopped. The internal conclusion is that it wasn't gay enough. There's just no way to make quality films.
Pixar significantly revised *Elio* after a test screening where no one expressed willingness to pay to see it in theaters. Elio was initially queer-coded until leadership instructed the team to make him more masculine.

This kind of post is stupid fearmongering. Solar is for cost optimization on sunny days but does almost nothing for preventing brownouts. You have to build your whole grid assuming zero solar energy input, because the grid has to run at night and on cloudy days.
When there’s a blackout or a brownout in the next year, when your prices go up, ask your Republican Senator why they shut down solar projects that were already under way. The answer is they didn’t agree with it but they were super excited about Medicaid cuts so they went along.
