The whole point is that there often isn’t “unequivocal evidence of guilt,” so the just society errs on not hanging a single innocent man even if it means some guilt ones don’t hang. This is all pretty irrefutably out in Camus’s Reflections on the Guillotine.
Murderers, where there is unequivocal evidence of guilt, should be hanged, as has been the case throughout history

Before taking the stage at the @miamibookfair , author Thomas Chatterton Williams @thomaschattwill answered the question… Besides your own book , “Summer of Our Discontent,” what’s the most thought-provoking thing you’ve read this year? #booktok #miamibookfair

We’re now at the “yes, Trump fondled Epstein’s victims, but that’s it” stage of MAGA gymnastics.
Megyn Kelly: "There is not a single woman who said, 'Yes, I was trafficked by Epstein to Trump.' There's one who says Trump walked into a house with Epstein and allegedly fondled her upon meeting her. Okay? That's the best they have so far."

I still can’t get over this story. A Tennessee man spent 37 days in a cage—on *$2 million* bond—for posting a meme, because police said he was trying to “create hysteria.” This was the meme. I would expect this to happen in China, not the United States.
Larry Bushart was arrested on a $2 million bond for posting a meme on Facebook. He was released this week, after more than a month in jail. https://t.co/YT0C6RUoUs

After a woman reporter asked about President Trump’s name being raised in emails sent by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Trump snaps at her: “Quiet, piggy!” Disgusting and completely unacceptable. https://t.co/5NNaF86aEJ

"the speed with which the norm of marriage—indeed, of relationships of any sort—is being abandoned is startling...Among Americans aged 25-34, the proportion living without a spouse or partner has doubled in five decades, to 50% for men and 41% for women."

@thomaschattwill One might argue that the biggest problem with the far right and far left isn’t their ideas but rather their desire to force everyone to adopt them, or suffer violence and expulsion. The genius of liberalism is the big tent.

.@GlennLoury is right, Tom Wolfe on Epstein would have been sensational.

Pam Bondi had shut down the Epstein cases - which is why Congress could finally vote on releasing files. Trump is ordering new investigations in an effort to BLOCK the release by making it an active case.

Fantastic! Now all we need are humanoid robots that can storm the gates of the rich, seize the wealth they’ve amassed and redistribute it so we can all afford big houses that need robots to do our chores while we drool onto our phones all day! 🥳🥳🥳
Home humanoid robots are getting closer. Shenzhen MindOne Robotics is testing their robot brain on the Unitree G1, and it looks like the G1 has already learned to do human-like household chores. Watering plants, moving packages, cleaning mattresses, tidying up, etc. Honestly,

Let this sink in. Jobs reports will *never* be released under this president. That means this report is so bad and they anticipate future reports being so bad that they would rather further tank the economy than disclose it.
Leavitt: The Democrats may have permanently damaged the federal statistical system with October C.P.I. And jobs reports likely never being released and all of that economic data released will be permanently impaired
