Denying patients doctors because a trade union is challenging you is the very definition of holding patients to ransom....
Because weâre not going to have patients held to ransom by endless strikes. Iâd rather we didnât have this transactional relationship. Unfortunately thatâs where we are with strikes - I even offered to extend the mandate to stop strikes next week and was refused by the BMA.
