Pilgrims count will more or less equal to those visiting Tirupathi or Rameshwaram but why this step motherly treatment to these areas alone.Someone from this areas must file a case in High court regarding lack of Train services @GMSRailway @DRMTPJ @RailMinIndia @RailwaySeva (5/5)

I am not against extension of trains to other areas but extending only to certain sections and neglecting another section which already lacks connection is the matter of concern.Velankanni is one of the most visited places in TN but no daily trains to Chennai or other places(4/5)

Lack of trains to these areas making things difficult for the pilgrims.The pathetic thing is @DRMTPJ changed the connection train timings of Coimbatore Jan Shatabdi to Karaikal,Nagai,Thiruvarur areas and still not restored.Only two daily express trains from these areas (3/5)

Last 1 year new trains or extensions *Salem - Mayiladuthurai *Sengottai-Mayiladuthurai *Now Palakkad - Mayiladuthurai But not even a single new train or extension to Karaikal or Velankanni,weekly lakhs of tourists are visiting Velankanni,Nagore, Thirunallar,Thirukadaiyur(2/5)
